Early FANUC motors were incremental position encoders that had to be zeroed in every time they were turned on, wasting machining time. How to change to not zero? 4 steps:

Step 1: Upgrade incremental position encoders to absolute position encoders

 

Step 2: Add a 6V battery to the drive

            

You can also choose a self-recharging battery box and never need to change the battery, the method refers to the video article "Never change the battery". 

Step 3: Check the encoder feedback line, whether there is a soldered 6V cable, as shown below (7-4):

 

 

Step 4: Modify the parameter 1815, near the mechanical origin, set 1815.4 and 1815.5 to 1
